Independence Caucus Endorses Jay La Suer, Sheriff, San Diego County
California, (January 8, 2010) – The Independence Caucus is proud to announce their support for San Diego County’s Sheriff candidate, Jay La Suer.
The Independence Caucus carefully chooses candidates based on an extensive vetting process, and after running the gambit, Jay La Suer, can now count himself as one of the Independence Caucus’ family.
Mr. La Suer, brings a wealth of experience to the table, in both the political and community service arenas. His experience as a former Undersheriff with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, a member of the City Council for the city of La Mesa for 10 years (1990-2000) and three terms in the California State Assembly representing the Seventy-Seventh District (2000-2006) as well as his stated Principles aligns with the foundation principles of the Independence Caucus; however his platform extends much further than these two elements and embraces a true understanding of what is needed in the County of San Diego to return it once again to a safe haven for our families and retake the title of “America’s Finest City”.
